The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) has a membership of around 3,000 professionally qualified acupuncturists.
It is the UK's largest professional/self-regulatory body for the practice of traditional acupuncture.
Fiona Matthews is a Registered General Nurse (RGN), and has been a member of the British Acupuncture Council since 1997.
The Council represents qualified traditonal acupuncturists and is encouraging the UK Government to implement self-regulation and improve the governance of the practice of acupuncture.
