Fiona was born in Plymouth and although she moved to London to train as a State Registered Nurse, and spent several years gaining wider experience around the UK, she decided to return to her native Devon and continue her orthopaedic nursing speciality in Plymouth.Fiona Matthews Lic Ac MBAcC

In 1994 Fiona returned to London to take a 3 year degree level acupuncture course at the British College of Acupuncture, and after qualifying in 1997 she was invited to start an acupuncture clinic at the Plymouth Nuffield Hospital.
